In her celebration of grit, adaptability, energy and persistence, novelist, journalist, and social commentator Jane Caro shows how the generation of women now aged over fifty-five changed the world, much of them without meaning to. She explores how the world they lived in – with the pill and a regular pay cheque – transformed everything and how, almost in spite of themselves, they revolutionised the world.

Caro has authored eight non-fiction books, is a regular guest on Sunrise, Mornings on Channel 9, ABC’s Gruen Transfer, Q&A, The Project and radio program ‘Life Matters’. In July 2018 she received the Walkley Award for Women in Leadership.

Jane will be in conversation with former CEO of Heide Museum of Modern Art and founding editor of, Natasha Cica.
