The NWAC is a group made up of about 60 members from the North West Coast of Tasmania. They all share a passion for making art and their goal is to promote and further develop their arts practice. A series of workshops are presented alongside the exhibition as well as the popular event Artists in Action, where members demonstrate their processes and answer your questions about their practice.

The Robinson Project

This event will celebrate the Robinson Collection and those who have dedicated their time over the last 30 years to keeping these photographs alive and accessible to the public, from the staff and volunteers who cleaned and catalogued the collection, to those working on the digitisation of the collection into the future.

Open Your Albums: 12pm – 1pm

Our official opening will be followed by a conversational Open Your Albums session, where you are invited to bring photographs from your own albums to show and share stories.
Documentary photographs from inside the Robinson Studio, held in the Gallery’s archive, will also be shared at this session.

All welcome – no RSVP required.
