The Tasmanian Government extends its condolences to the family of Michael Kent.

Michael was a giant in our community, including serving as Mayor of the Glamorgan Spring Bay Council, and chair of the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Undoubtedly, Michael Kent will be remembered as a renowned businessman with a community driven focus.

He was unquestionably a man of passion, vision and conviction. He made a remarkable contribution to our state, and to the lives of many Tasmanians.

On behalf of the Tasmanian Government, I would like to express my sincere condolences to Michael Kent’s family at this time.
