‘Its All About Making The Deal’
Now why should not salmon farming ring the
The whole wide coastal circle of your state? You
Folks need the fish, while my golfing buddy here
Needs the tax cash to pay for better travel perks!
Its all justa matter of balance folks: for clearly
What we need here, is to get our minds right!
We need to be fair, andto see both sides
Why what we need, here, is a compromise!”
So here’s my idea, a ways to even things up, to
Match needs of tomorrow, with the wants of the day
So we can grow more fish, be greedy, now ,let the
Farms spread all over, right around the whole coast, but
Still even things out, put some light into the shade, balancing
Dark with just a teeny bit more day, let’s offset some offshore death
With extra life, up here! Lets pair profit and poison, at sea, to upland
Potential, getting some terra gains for famine, salmon and starvation.
We had a problem, sure: now here’s a solution! The fundamental
Question was:,should it be ocean, or pollution? Well lets make a deal!
I suggest a trade: we keep the land, and lose the sea!. Save the trees, rivers
And your wilds, here, but just leave us some offshore open-slather, out there!,
So what do you say here folks? Now what could be neater?
I said I’d get the deals done: how could anything be sweeter?
