Dear Alderman (Name)
The Rosny Hill Friends Network is a vibrant local community organization, built on the local
Landcare group providing rehabilitation in and around the Rosny Reserve for over 25 years.

Our network draws on the professional and practical expertise of members and supporters
involved in business, local government planning, environmental management and Parks and
Reserves planning and policy.

At its meeting of 17 attendees last week, network members confirmed they are very much here to
stay for the long term, backed up by professional visitors to the meeting, and all resolved to
contribute towards a fresh new vision and initiative for the highly valued site of Rosny Hill Nature
Recreation Area, creating a true ecotourism asset for the Clarence community and Council.

Planning is already well underway on the project – “Re-Imagining Rosny Hil l ” – and we’ll be in
touch with Council with a view to presenting to you in early twenty nineteen.

On behalf of the network, congratulations on your election. We are confident there will be a new
dynamic for Clarence City Council, leading to positive outcomes for its community and

Yours sincerely
