Last Wednesday 24th October 2018, I sent a letter to all Tasmanian MHR’s calling on them to stand together as Tasmanians for Tasmania and hand the balance of power in the Australian Federal Government to Tasmania and its people. To date not one of them has responded.
The House of Representatives is there to represent the people of Tasmania, not the State or the aspirations of a Federal Political Party, it is after all the “Peoples House”.
The Tasmanian people need to be aware that these five Tasmanians could hand Tasmania a golden opportunity by controlling the balance of power in this Federal Government.
The implications for this are enormous, and one that Tasmania should exploit.
We call on all Tasmanian MHR’s to stand together as Tasmanian, put your political biases aside and stand up for the people of Tasmania, or feel their wrath at the next Federal election, which is not far away.
Make up your mind, the Tasmanian people, or your Federal Political Party that cares little about the people and concentrates only on the retention of power.
The choice is yours, your political party or the people of Tasmania
