‘What does an architect get up to when he/she retires?

Well, this architect took up making art (painting, drawing, print-making) and writing … here was unfettered creative freedom. ‘In 2011, following my retirement, I produced through Forty South, a little book of my poetry and artwork titled: Over the Hill. Now, here’s my first novel: MISSING.’ Jamieson Allom

Missing is a Tassie mystery/thriller in which architect son, Alex Gardner, goes on an unrelenting search for his Vietnam-vet father, Daniel, who’s gone missing in the bush. Alex’s search also becomes an inner quest for philosophies by which to live and create.

Judy Tierney, award-winning ABC journalist, broadcaster and author, will be in conversation with Jamieson Allom for the launch of his book.
