The Orb is an innovative approach to supporting teacher practice, which provides a wide range of materials to assist in the teaching of Tasmanian Aboriginal Histories and Cultures.
Officially launched today, the Orb is separated into three categories, Living Cultures, Layers of Time and Connection to Place.
Reflecting local values and knowledge, the Orb supports the Government’s commitment to Aboriginal Education for all students.
Tasmanian Aboriginal people are the primary voice in this resource and the audience is invited to walk with them and to develop empathy for their story.
