Festivale Announces Headline Acts for 2019

Hoodoo Gurus, Kate Ceberano and Jon Stevens head to Festivale.

Festivale announces the headline acts confirmed to play at the 2019 event.

Friday night will see Ross Wilson of Daddy Cool fame take to the stage to get the party started, followed by the Hoodoo Gurus performing their greatest hits and helping patrons celebrate the end of the working week.

Saturday evening will feature true music legends with Jeff Lang (an Australian guitarist/songwriter/vocalist who has built a reputation for making startling music that is accomplished, melodic and loaded with soul) followed by Kate Ceberano performing many of her well known hits on her return to Tasmania. Jon Stevens (recognized as one of the most talented rock musicians to emerge from Australia) will take to the stage to keep everyone on their feet and wanting more as he closes the entertainment for Saturday evening.

Sunday will see The Ginger Man himself Brian Cadd on stage to perform many of his hits from his extensive career. Kate Ceberano will then take to the stage for a 2nd performance and close out the event with a leisurely jazz inspired afternoon performance.

Festivale Chairman David Dunn is excited at the final lineup and believes the entire entertainment program will offer something for everyone. “The Entertainment Committee have secured one of the strongest lineups ever and we are offering Festivale attendees a true Australian musical experience”. “Where else could you pay $45 for three day access to top quality entertainment and see such a unique and highly successful lineup”.

A mouthwatering array of food and beverage stallholders showcasing the best of Tasmania’s produce and beverages and will be announced in the coming weeks. Together with an excellent local entertainment lineup and a very special Guest Chef, Festivale will be a must do on every food lovers calendar. Full event details will be released shortly.

A special three day pass promotion is offering the unique prize of exclusive use of the Rotunda for the winner and 9 friends for the Friday evening. In its 33rd year, Festivale is set to rock Launceston on February 1, 2 and 3 2019.
