 Snowfall reported to 300m overnight, with unconfirmed reports of falls to 200m in the south. Current warnings include:

 Minimum temperatures overnight included -5 degrees C at kunanyi (Mt Wellington) and Liawenee, -4 at Mt Read and -2 at Hartz Mountains and Butlers Gorge.
 A cold southerly flow persists over the State for most of the today, bringing cold temperatures and showers to most districts.
 Today’s state forecast: Showers with possible small hail about the west, south and east, clearing the west late in the day. Snowfalls to around 300 metres in the morning, gradually rising to 500 metres during the day. Southerly winds.
 Very chilly mornings ahead with widespread morning frost on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
 The next few days will see precipitation easing, with activity mostly confined to the south and east coasts as Tasmania sits under a high pressure ridge.
