Dear Editor,
Some time ago I stated in a letter that Ray Groom was responsible for reducing the numbers of MPs in the Tasmanian Parliament. This was incorrect and an error on my part. It was in fact Liberal Premier Hon. A.M. (Tony) Rundle who on Monday 13th July 1998 reduced the numbers in the Legislative Council to 15 members rather than 19, and the House of Assembly of 25 members rather than 35. Which I still think was a really stupid and self-destructive act.
