    Nice work Isla,

It struck me after I got my first regular camera, which was an old hand-me-down iPhone3, that a good shot was not about the limitations of the tool, but ‘seeing’ the shot in the first place.

It might be the case that the camera isn’t good enough to take it, but there are so many opportunities all the time to take ones it can that that becomes a discipline in its own right.

Even imperfect pictures can still make great shots, for the imperfections, such as poor definition, can provide their own visual interest.

Congratulations for ‘recognising’ the visual opportunity in the humblest of things …

This is a great series of images Isla, with brilliant contrasts and lovely metaphors.

Hey, do you have any idea why the international #Metoo campaign went down so well in Hobart? Me neither!

Marvelous to think that there’s been absolutely zero sexual harassment in this town, so apparently there’s been absolutely no need to cover the international solidarity campaign about thousands of women standing together against sexual predators.

    Wow!
