People can now change their response to Marriage equality survey?
As a leader of Marriage Equality for many years I have watched the federal government regularly move the goal posts to suit those who oppose equality, and they have done it once again!
I understand this survey is just considered data gathering. BUT, I know of no democratic country that allows its citizens to change their vote once it has been submitted. Whether that is for good or bad.
Does the “No Campaign” have more half truths and myths to spin to incite fear and scaremongering? Or, is the government attempting to ensure voters who haven’t as yet returned the envelope will just give up and not bother because of the absurdity of the whole process?
I can only ask questions, because there are no answers or logic to this farce.
It seems there is such little regard for the rights of LGBTIQ people that once again they are being used as pawns in a game with no rules.
