Dear Friend,
Monthly meet-ups
We’re building our monthly social meet-ups across Australia, with the next being on 1 October. All events are on the first Sunday of the month from 3-4pm.
At this stage, it’s just a very informal opportunity to socialise with like-minded members and guests in your local networking area. Free party flyers and stickers will be available.
Locations
Limited locations are currently available. Each event is allocated by local networking area. See:
www.sustainableaustralia.org.au/local_networking
You will also find confirmed venues in the ‘Monthly social meet up’ event on our central Events page:
www.sustainableaustralia.org.au/events
No current event in your area?
Let’s make it happen! There is a two step process.
1. Visit your local networking page and post a comment suggesting a meet-up:
www.sustainableaustralia.org.au/local_networking
Others can respond and collectively determine the venue on that local networking page. It’s up to you!
2. Once confirmed, we will add the venue to the main event in our Events page with a link back to the local networking page.

The Dick Smith effect …
The news that Dick Smith joined our party this month has sent membership applications and email enquiries through the roof!
We’re working through many hundreds with a small team at HQ, whilst prioritising our NSW State registration – which needs to be lodged with the NSW Electoral Commission in early October. It may take us a few weeks to get through the backlog of other questions.
Are you in NSW? Have you lodged your manual party membership form?

Member-get-member
We’ll have a special member-get-member offer coming to current NSW members this weekend …
Kind regards,
William Bourke
