Greens candidate for Braddon, Scott Jordan, has labelled Government MP Adam Brooks piss weak, following his failure to back up his rhetoric with action to suspend permits for seal relocations.
Mr Brooks yesterday released a ‘petition’ asking Tassal to ‘act sooner’ to address its out of control seal dumping program.
The Liberal Government has it within its power to immediately suspend permits and end this practice.
“Adam Brooks’ farce has shown him as piss weak. What a gutless response to an issue that needs real courage and action”, said Mr Jordan.
“He might as well send flowers and a card”.
“Commercial and recreational fishers are hurting, and we need an immediate suspension of relocation permits, urgent discussions on a plan to return seals back to their waters of origin, and fair compensation to commercial fisherman affected by this stuff up on the Liberal’s watch”
“Adam’s money might buy him plenty of billboards, but it’s no substitute for real courage and integrity. Adam Brooks is a phoney”.
Neither of Tassal’s competitors are engaged in relocating seals.
