The Tasmanian Theatre Company has reacted with shock to the Tasmanian Government’s announcement that it will cut the theatre company’s grant by $23,000 in 2018.

“The board and staff will meet to discuss the future of the organisation” CEO, Charles Parkinson said. “The proposed investment by the Hodgman government is definitely not enough to run a professional theatre company”.

The Company will make an announcement about its future in the coming weeks.
