• A minor flood warning has been issued for the North Esk River today following widespread rainfall in the past 24 hours.
• A flood watch remains in place for all northern river basins.
• In the 24 hours to 8am on Sunday, totals of 10-30mm have been recorded in the northern parts of Tasmania with higher totals in excess of 40mm recorded at Mt Barrow.
• Further rainfall of between 10-15mm is likely about the norther river basins today, with 20-30mm possible in elevated areas.
• Minor flooding may occur during Sunday and the flood watch and flood warning will be reviewed this afternoon with details available at www.bom.gov.au/tas/warnings/
• The rest of the state will see less than 5mm of rain today.
• The cold front will bring fresh and gusty winds to the north and north east on Sunday up to 60 km/h.
