Since joining the Volunteering Tasmania team in January, I have been humbled and inspired by the conversations with many of you discussing the impact volunteers are having on communities in all corners of our island.
Your stories make me proud to be a Tasmanian and firm in my belief that we are leading the nation in the generosity of our volunteers.
I can’t stress enough how important your support has been in helping my team continue their great work.
Whether it is advocating to government on the value of volunteers, celebrating the achievements of our volunteers, or supporting the workshops and training that we’ve delivered across the state.
However, with changes happening across all sectors and in all corners of the island, there is still so much more to be done to keep our volunteering sector vibrant.
To help us tackle these challenges, I hope that you will support us in 2017-18 by joining as a Member.
Your support not only enables us to continue our work, but also gives you access to member exclusive benefits, including a full suite of Policies and Procedures templates on our Members Only Resources web page.
We also have a range of inspiring projects planned for the next 12 months including an increased number of state-wide training opportunities and workshops, often made available as first-round offers to our Members.
I’ve listed the information on each of the Membership options below, and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me or Bonnie Tuttle, Volunteering Tasmania’s Membership and Partnerships Manager.
Many of you know Bonnie and she can be contacted on 6231 5550, 0439 032 499 or by email at BonnieT@volunteeringtas.org.au
Thank you again, and I look forward to welcoming you into the Volunteering Tasmania Membership family.
With kindest regards,
