Climatologist Ian Barnes-Keoghan from the Bureau of Meteorology Tasmania is covering the following points in this June climate summary, current as of 1.30pm on 3 July 2017:
• Exceptionally dry June, record dry in the east
• Hobart had no rain for the first 18 days of the month
• No strong signs of above average rain for the coming months.
