MALCOLM Turnbull has urged state governments to unlock more land and build more homes as the best way to attack housing affordability.
As the federal government flagged the issues would be a centrepiece of the May budget,

Mr Turnbull said the biggest challenge was supply.

Local Government Clarence City Council

Mayor chip states: welcomed an extra 508 people last year, HOBART’S Eastern Shore is the state’s hotspot of population growth, contributing to a surge that is four times the rate of the rest of Tasmania.

YET we are trying for 530 homes and the council alderman wont see us.

• Over 7 years the public have been asking for the rezoning of Central Lauderdale and no one is talking to us!

• over 1,300 people have petitioned for this to happen and the Clarence city council have stated that because a handful (around 30) people don’t want it

• Over $500 Million dollars of development and we cant even see any of our Ministers, Alderman or others.

• The Clarence City Council have voted twice for Central Lauderdale to be rezoned and

• Minister Gutwein stated no but he was sympathetic, But even he wont see us!

• Minister Gutwein asked council to do the right thing and submit the request for rezoning properly and he would look at it.

• Council Alderman are voting on the rezoning of Central Lauderdale, they have stated they are ignoring the more than 1300 people who petitioned for the rezoning and are going to vote against it because 30 people are against it!
