After a rigorous process, the Shooters & Fishers Party Tasmania (SFP Tasmania) is delighted to present Cheryl Arnol for the May Legislative Council elections.
Cheryl is a well-respected member of the community and has a broad base of experience in local government and private enterprise.
She has been involved in local government for almost 20 years and has s served in the role of Councillor, Mayor and Deputy Mayor and is currently Deputy Mayor of Glamorgan Spring Bay Council.
Cheryl has held roles on various committees dealing with firearm ownership as well as sport shooting organisations at State and National level.
Her experience and knowledge gives her a great insight into what impacts a local community and how ill formed policy can change a community.
Cheryl is a positive asset in bringing 2020 vision to the future direction of this State.
Cheryl will campaign for sensible legislation that protects the aims of SFP Tasmania:
• SFP Tasmania aim is to protect local businesses by ensuring Tasmania’s interests are put first.
• SFP Tasmania is steadfast in its resolve to ensure rural Tasmanians have access to affordable and localised health care.
• SFP Tasmania will work hard to remove rural mobile phone blackspots.
• SFP Tasmania will vigorously protect your right to enjoy the outdoor way of life, now and into the future.
• SFP Tasmania vows to protect the environment through education.
• SFP Tasmania is supportive where aquatic farming practices are proven to be sustainable and environmentally friendly.
The division of Rumney includes the municipal areas of Sorell and Tasman, as well as that part of the Clarence City municipal area and Cheryl provides the electorate with real positive choice for the May Legislative Council election.
