    The elephant is in the corner again.
    No mention in this article of what happens when you suck up millions of tons of seabed, then sift the minerals you want out of it and let the rest just slowly descend to the ocean floor again.
    Where do the currents take the tailings?
    What are of the sea bed be affected by the deposits?
    Will the mining tailings cover habitat areas nearby.
    How far away will the ocean be affected, and how many local fisherpeople will be out of work.
    Lot of questions but no answers or mention in the article.
