Rehearsing tomorrow will be:

FESTIVAL OF VOICES YOUTH CHOIR – A combined choir of Tasmanian school students, aged 10-15.

SOPRANO, STEPHANIE ARNOLD – One of Tasmania’s most promising soloists – Hobart-based, classical soprano, Stephanie Arnold has been the soprano soloist for Charpentier’s Messe de Minuit pour Noël, Dvořák’s Mass in D, Schubert’s Magnificat in C, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and in 2014, Mozart’s Requiem in D minor for Festival of Voices. This will be Stephanie’s final performance in Tasmania, before relocating to the mainland.

Festival of Voices is presenting a performance of traditional Christmas carols in St David’s Cathedral on Monday 19 December 2016, featuring soprano, Stephanie Arnold, Nelson Sound Choir, Festival of Voices Youth Choir, as well as inviting the whole community to join together in song to support the Hobart City Mission Christmas Appeal.

Each year, Hobart City Mission assists hundreds of local people with food, to find a safe home, to provide support for young mums and their children, as well as dads struggling to raise kids alone and the elderly, struggling to pay the power bill.

This event will be entry by donation, which will go directly to the Hobart City Mission Christmas Appeal to support the work they are doing within our community.
