Dear Sir/Madam,
After being bombarded with the USA elections for a New President and all the pumped up “exposé” of the two campaign trails I find it difficult to understand why
our media “stars” with no Political analysis were sent to the USA, especially when had excellent Political commentators their to report on the Presidency Campaign.
Apart from Trump’s faux pas’ regarding building a wall between the USA and Mexico, his comments about women, etc.that drew condemnation.
Whilst Trump showed his brash naivety he offered an alternative to political rhetoric and this was picked up by the millions of Americans who had grown fed up with
double talk and rhetoric (of which Obama had displayed over his 2 terms in office).
Triumphant Trump will be sending a clear message to the likes of Turnbull and other leaders around the world they are there to represent the people and the ongoing
rhetoric without achievement will no longer be acceptable.
I would suggest the majority of people in Australia should an Election be held tomorrow would look at alternative’s to Politicians who do not put the people first and improve
our citizens situation, and offer only political rhetoric
The pensioners, and those who want work, and the genuine disabled deserve better, much better.
