Getting to the Moonah Arts Centre
Not been to the Moonah Arts Centre before? Here’s some travel advice …
The Moonah Arts Centre is a fabulous new venue in the heart of Moonah. Recently revamped it is a fantastic flexible space, hosting everything from performances to art exhibits and more.
The Moonah Arts Centre is located at 23-27 Albert Road, Moonah, Tasmania.
Parking: There is FREE parking opposite the Centre, next to Harris Scarfe. There is also carpark access off Albert Rd (before the main rd/Albert intersection) near the Bottleshop. Street parking may also be available
Bike: Take the Albert Road exit off the Intercity Cycleway. Travel 200m west up Albert Road
Bus: Our location in Central Moonah is served by Metro Tasmania’s Turn Up and Go service. Buses travel both ways on Main Road at least every 10 mins between the Hobart CBD and Central Glenorchy (Mon – Fri, 7am to 7pm). On Saturday bus frequency is every 20 minutes.
Taxi: Taxi drop off outside MAC is available. There is a Taxi rank in Moonah should you need a cab after the show. Or phone 13 2227 to book in advance.
