2016 ACSA National Summit – Hobart, 6-9 September
Decorated Australian author and researcher Andrew O’Keeffe will open the third day of the 2016 ACSA National Summit in Hobart this morning, speaking on the power of human instincts in leadership through his work as director of Hardwired Humans.
The former IBM and Optus senior HR professional has developed a framework of human instincts designed to help leaders manage change and make informed, sustainable choices.
“The instincts of human nature emerged during our long journey on the savannah and they continue to drive human behaviour when suddenly we changed habitat and moved into offices, factories and aged care organisations” said Mr O’Keeffe.
Telstra business woman of the year finalist and Glenview Community Services CEO, Lucy O’Flaherty will be joining Mr O’Keeffe to discuss the role of dynamic leadership within the aged care sector.
Over 700 people from across the Australian aged care sector will gather at the Hotel Grand Chancellor this week (6-9 September) to discuss the aged care reforms occurring nationally, the reality for services on the ground and how the industry can continue to thrive in an ever-changing environment.
