A support option for bereaved families in the Launceston and surrounding areas who have recently or some time ago experienced the heartache of a baby dying during pregnancy, at birth, or after birth.
This is a free group that will meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 5:30pm to 7pm and will be facilitated by professional counsellor and social worker Robyn McKinnon who is also a bereaved parent.
We ask that no babies or children attend the group to be sensitive to each others journey and struggles.
If you are currently pregnant after a loss, please contact Robyn to discuss attending so we can make sure it is a safe place for both you and those in the group, or to consider other options if needed. It is possible in the future that a second group for those pregnant or parenting after a loss may be offered.
