As you know, the price of petrol is a topic of great interest to a wide section of the community and since our inception in 2000, we at MotorMouth have made it our core purpose to help drivers find the best deal on fuel and put more money in their pockets… for free!
The latest developments between Informed Sources and the ACCC have enabled MotorMouth to supply even more data to motorists across Tasmania… in near-real time, and again at no cost to the tax payer.
In May, the information available to Tasmanian motorists increased from partial coverage of fuel prices in Hobart, to visibility of prices from participating service stations across the whole state. As a result, the coverage in Tasmania increased overnight by 264%, and with active MotorMouth members helping fellow motorists by filling in the gaps, and the ability for service station operators to advertise their prices with ease, we think it will only be a matter of time before we have Tasmania, and indeed the country covered.
