A very tentative Rachel Baxendale from The Australian called my mobile phone number yesterday (March 23) to get a response to P.M. Turnbull’s decision to keep the $10 billion Clean Energy Finance Corporation.

I told her the decision is a feather in the Greens’ cap.

However Ms. Baxendale did not ask for comment on the accompanying Turnbull decision to cut $1.3 billion from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency which is, as Richard Di Natale said, a con job.

There it was: one good decision with which I agreed and one bad decision with which Richard disagreed. We have no division.

So today’s front page headline in The Australian ‘Green divide as PM keeps ‘Bob’s Bank’’ is a constructed lie.

The editorial ridiculing the idea that humanity faces a ‘climate emergency’ awaits further adjudication.
