Le Weekend at Cygnet is a two-day cultural event celebrating Cygnet’s rich French history on February 13 and 14, 2016. Cygnet, in the Huon Valley of Tasmania, has deep connections to legendary French explorers Bruni D’Entrecasteaux, Jacques Labillardiere, Huon de Kermandec and Nicolas Baudin. This festival celebrates that connection with all things French including food, wine, films, sailing, cars, art, live music, markets and cycling. During the weekend there is also the opportunity to sail from Hobart to Cygnet, do a twilight sail or a Valentine’s breakfast sail at Cygnet on board the Lady Nelson.
