The Liberal Government has now confirmed it has cut a $200,000 recurrent community based grants program for preventative health initiatives in the Huon Valley.

Labor Member for Franklin Lara Giddings said it’s an outrageous breach of a promise to the local community.

“Not only have they had their $200,000 per annum cut but the Liberals’ inferior replacement program will only last three years.

“This is a fob off for the local community who quite rightly are angry at this broken commitment.”
