… and reject Sharia Law: Lambie

Independent Senator for Tasmania, Jacqui Lambie has rejected Australia’s Grand Mufti’s additional comments about the latest Terrorist attacks in Paris and has called on Dr Ibrahim Abu Mohamed and all Islamic leaders in Australian to unconditionally condemn the Terrorists and their efforts to establish Sharia Law in the West.

“I’m sick of Australia’s Islamic leaders making excuses, playing the victim and having 2 bob each way between the Terrorists and the home side every time there’s another terrorist atrocity. In the wake of the Paris slaughter, now’s the time that all Islamic leaders stated their unequivocal opposition to Sharia or the Terrorists’ law and pledge allegiance to Australia’s democratic constitution and laws.” said Senator Lambie.

“We only have one law in Australia – and that’s Australian Law, not Sharia Law. And while ever we have Islamic leaders who are prepared to dog whistle their support for terrorism – by refusing to unconditionally condemn the law that the Terrorists want to impose by force, on the west – then there will always be that tension and mistrust.” said Senator Lambie.

“It’s now up to the peaceful Australian Islamic leaders who are not afraid to condemn the violent and barbaric values promoted and justified by Sharia Law, to speak out for their community. My Network has a well thought out policy on Sharia or the Terrorists’ law. (see attached 1) It’s a matter I’ve questioned the government before in Parliament. (Click to view questioning of Attorney-General on Sharia Law: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMRZG4hKl9U )

And now it’s time for the Turnbull government to adopt my Network’s policy. Support for Sharia Law is a clear sign of Islamic radicalization. Support for the terrorist law must be treated seriously and not falsely condoned or minimized, in the name of “multiculturalism” or blindly ignored. When Australian citizens are identified as supporters of Sharia or the Terrorists’ Law, the following should immediately happen:

1) Remove their right to vote
2) Remove their right to receive assistance from Australian Taxpayers,
3) Make them prove why Australian Citizenship should be retained, and
4) Increased surveillance and monitoring by security agencies, including bracelet tracking.” said Senator Lambie.

“I’m very angry and disappointed with the Grand Mufti’s behavior. I’ve written to him in the past (see attached 2) about Sharia Law and he’s refused to reply. He’s run from my questions.” said Senator Lambie.

5. Sharia Law a sign of radicalization – JLN is opposed to Sharia Law being imposed in Australia either formally or informally – and will promote a policy of undivided loyalty to the Australian Constitution and people.

JLN considers that support for Sharia Law, given that it’s the law, culture and way of life supported by Islamic State Terrorists:

1. is a clear sign of extreme radicalization,

2. shows a split or divided loyalty to Australia and a clear sign of allegiance to hostile foreign powers,

3. attacks democratic principles found in Australia’s constitution

…and therefore is also a clear sign of seditious or treasonous behavior worthy of investigation and possible charges.

JNL notes that it is an indisputable fact, backed up by many daily, gruesome and brutal examples – that states, countries and communities, which support and enforce Sharia law allow:

· The death penalty by beheading or stoning – to be imposed from a religious court on those found guilty of being homosexual, adulterous or choose to become atheists.

· Their governments to torture, mutilate and remove the limbs of those (including children) found guilty by a religious court of property offences, including theft.

· The governments to strip women of basic civil rights (freedom of thought, religion, assembly, and equality before the law)

· Their governments to discriminate against women by making it illegal for them to attend sporting fixtures, drive, drink alcohol, smoke, have sex before marriage, appear in public without a male chaperone, and seek an education.

· Their government to encourage, tolerate or turn a blind eye to female genital mutilation and forced marriages.

· Their government to encourage, sanction, tolerate or turn a blind-eye to the re- introduction of human trafficking and slavery

JLN also notes that many Islamic people can peacefully practice their religion without supporting and advocating for Sharia or the Terrorist’s law. JLN supports and praises those Islamic people and calls on all Australian Islamic leaders and leaders of other religions to condemn those who do support Sharia Law.

JLN also calls on the Federal Police and Federal Attorney to use long-standing, existing laws – and charge with treason or sedition – those citizens who support in any way what-ever, the imposition of Sharia or the Terrorists’ law, in Australia.
