Shadow Treasurer Scott Bacon has welcomed today’s positive ABS employment figures.

“It’s fantastic to see continued growth in our jobs market,” Mr Bacon said.

“Major investment in our agriculture, aquaculture and tourism sectors over last decade have resulted in a more resilient state economy and all Tasmanians can be proud of that.

“We are conscious, however, that many regions in Tasmania are not feeling the benefits of this growth and Labor will do all it can to support those areas that continue to do it tough.”
