The Australian Men’s National Roller Derby Team – The Wizards of Aus are in Hobart for one weekend to train for the World Cup in Canada in early 2016.
The Wizards are the best male skaters in Australia and come from all over the country.
They are training in Hobart this coming Saturday. It just so happens that Hobart local and one of our Convict City Coaches is one of the coaches of the men’s national team.
We are proud to have them in Hobart and think it would make a great story. Hobart is hosting the Australian Men’s Nationals in November as well.
On Saturday night the Convict City Rollers two teams will go head to head at Aurora Stadium as well. These are the top two teams in the whole state and the action will be incredible.
