I welcome the comments by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection regarding the Spirits of Tasmania refurbishment, which has found Bryan Green’s claims to be false.

The Spirits of Tasmania refurbishment, carried out without loss of any scheduled services, has been nothing but good news for Tasmania’s tourism and hospitality industries, with forward bookings soaring.

It has also been good news for local businesses, with around 200 Tasmanians and 24 local businesses working on the refurbishment.

None of those businesses, listed below, would have gained this work if we had followed the advice of Mr Green not to refurbish the Spirits.
