THE DAME …

… is a singer and entertainer who has specialised in the field of Aged-Care.

Now retired from full-time work as a Leisure and Lifestyle Officer at Southern Cross Care Inc., where her skills as a singer/entertainer had a significant impact on those aged-care residents with dementia, The Dame can now concentrate on purely entertaining and singing.

Her repertoire apart from the World War II classics of Vera Lynn, Judy Garland, Al Jolson, etc. includes song hits from the 60’s, show tunes and swing jazz numbers.

She can also entertain with stories and songs and appear as a host for a function or event around Tasmania.

The Dame is well versed in Master of Ceremonies and performance.

Besides MC-ing events for years her performance can consist of “The Strength and Power of Music and Costume” using song, dress and video/images.

Since assisted passage from Belfast, she worked in NYC, Thailand, Tasmania, Melbourne and as ABC TV Factory regular Hollywood Movie Reviewer –
