State Liberals need to push back against Abbott’s attack on wind
The Hodgman Government needs to stand up against Tony Abbott’s bizarre ideological attack on wind farms.
Shadow Energy Minister David Llewellyn said the Federal Government’s demand that the Clean Energy Finance Corporation not invest in wind is short sighted.
“Tony Abbott’s attack on wind farms is bad news for Tasmania,” Mr Llewellyn said.
“Projects like Granville Harbour on the West Coast are crucial for the state’s future but the Liberals are openly undermining them.
“Are Will Hodgman and Matthew Groom strong enough to stand up to their Federal Liberal colleagues on this issue?
“Tony Abbott and Joe Hockey’s public denigrating of wind farms has been embarrassing.
“This is a big test for the State Government.”
