An own goal …
The subject of Sunday’s Background Briefing program is about the pros and cons of burning native forests. From the bit I heard this morning on the Breakfast program it sounds like the government has scored an own goal here, with it’s own department’s research showing that native forests are worth vastly more left standing, as carbon stores, than burning them for ‘clean energy’. Sen Colbeck is trying to argue his way out of the figures.
Could be worth a listen – or downloading to your device for hearing at a time to suit, as the 8.05am may not be conducive to everyone, any more than the repeat time of 9pm on Tuesday . . . . . !
