“Each year the Helpmann’s throws a spotlight on the size and scope of our arts industry and it is great to see it continuing to thrive all over the country.
“I understand that this year the Helpmann Awards committee received over 800 separate entries over 42 categories. All the nominees should be very proud of being recognised within these prestigious national industry awards.
“It is pleasing that a large number of productions which QPAC has co presented or supported have been nominated in this year’s awards including:

Mr Kotzas added “as part of the artistic community, not only in Queensland but within Australia, QPAC continually collaborates with local and international organisations to enable the presentation of the best in live performance which engages and entertains audiences across a wide range of genres.
“On behalf of our presenting partners we are honoured to be recognised among the many talented people who work hard to create and present artistic product and cultural experiences that touch millions of Australians every year.
