Labor’s Alternative Budget Revealed

Posted on

Following reports in today’s media that Labor is either unwilling or unable to work out how much its policies will cost and what the impact will be on the budget, I’ve decided to do it for them.

The table below includes all of Labor’s current spending commitments, the cost and the impact on the budget.

This proves conclusively that Labor’s “vision” for Tasmania is big deficits, crippling debt and living off the credit card for years to come.

This obviously doesn’t take into account what Labor may announce today and in the interests of transparency, I will continue to update Labor’s alternative budget as more announcements are made.
