Heritage Minister Matthew Groom must break his silence and address concerns raised by outgoing Heritage Tasmania employee David Scott.
Mr Scott has highlighted political interference as a key reason for his resignation.
Shadow Heritage Minister Craig Farrell said Minister Groom was obliged to comment on the serious matters raised by Mr Scott.
“David Scott resigning due to political interference in his job warrants a serious response from Matthew Groom,” Mr Farrell said.
“What’s the Minister doing to make sure Heritage Tasmania is functioning as it should be?
“What does the Minister say in response to Mr Scott’s claim that Heritage Tasmania has “lost its way”?
“Matthew Groom must take responsibility for this issue and break his silence.”
