Calling on Tasmanians looking for a caring new career

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work in aged care or currently considering a career change? If so, Glenview Community Services may just have the job for you.

Glenview is opening its doors on Friday to all Tasmanians, for an aged care information session as part of Aged and Community Services Australia Open Day 2015 activities. Anyone interested in becoming part of the Glenview team are welcome to attend this free information evening.

Running from 4pm – 7pm on Friday, 19 June 2015, the career information evening will be held at Glenview, located at 2-10 Windsor Street in Glenorchy. Glenview are encouraging individuals from all backgrounds to come along for a meet and greet with Glenview staff to discuss career opportunities in a variety of areas.

These range from care roles, support work, catering, nursing, administration, gardening and maintenance, art therapy, general activities, physiotherapy and accounting, to being a valuable addition to Glenview’s management team.

For those after more flexibility, Glenview will also be discussing the wide range of volunteering opportunities they have available which can range from giving one hour of your time a month through to a larger commitment.
