It is that time of year when Tasmanians have a chance to recognise their everyday heroes through the Tasmanian Community Achievement Awards.
Each and every day across our community individuals, organisations and groups are making a difference in the lives of others.
The Community Achievement Awards are a fantastic chance to say thank you to those who have gone above and beyond.
As Patron of the awards I am proud to today officially launch the 2015 event and encourage Tasmanians to take the time to nominate that special someone.
