Behaviour on China trip described as “excellent”

Posted on

Just weeks after demanding an apology from his Parliamentary Secretary, Premier Will Hodgman has described the behaviour Adam Brooks on the China trade mission as “excellent”.

Labor Leader Bryan Green said the Premier got to his feet to defend Mr Brooks in Parliament after he expressed regret for missing the bus to an official function with the Chinese President.

“Apparently Adam Brooks’ behaviour in China was excellent,” Mr Green said.

“I’ve never heard of someone having to apologise for excellent behaviour before but there you go!

“Given the Premier’s glowing report of Mr Brooks’ conduct, can we expect the Parliamentary Secretary to be upgraded to the position of ‘Cultural Attaché so he can accompany Mr Hodgman on the next trade mission?”
