YOUR INVITATION:

Community Consultation Event, Hobart

When: Tuesday 12 May, 6.00pm – 8.00pm

Where: Hobart TAS

Why? You, as an individual with a lived experience of suicide, are an expert in your own experience. You possess valuable knowledge of how your community experiences suicide and what needs to be done to prevent suicide. We want you to tell us what works and doesn’t work.

Who will attend? We aim to bring together a group of individuals who can provide a range of perspectives on the topic, specifically, we are looking for:

• People across a wide range of ages, cultures, genders, backgrounds, sexuality, and so on.
• Individuals who have reflected on their experience with suicide and feel they are emotionally and mentally ready to help make constructive improvements to suicide prevention activities through this process.
• Individuals with active self-care strategies in place
• Individuals who are comfortable to share their thoughts and ideas in small groups and are respectful of other people’s right to privacy.
