NAB survey good news for job seekers, shows business confidence and business conditions remain the best in the nation
The NAB Business Survey released today is good news for job seekers and good news for the economy.
While there is still a long way to go, it’s clear that under our long-term Plan, Tasmania is heading in the right direction.
The report shows that once again, Tasmanian business confidence and business conditions are the highest in the country.
What’s also encouraging is that it shows business employment expectations are the highest in the nation too. Boosting the number of Tasmanians with jobs is this Government’s number one priority.
This result is no accident. Since the election nearly 7,000 jobs have been created, the economy is growing again, retail trade is at record highs, building approvals are up and businesses are showing that they have the confidence to employ more people and re-invest in their business and in Tasmania.
