FEDERAL FUNDING FOR BREAK O’DAY BUSINESS
FEDERAL Lyons MP Eric Hutchinson today welcomed government funding from the Australian Small Business Advisory Service program for Break O’Day Business Enterprise Centre
The Break O’Day Centre was one of three Tasmanian small business advisory services across the state to receive more than $1.3 million funding announced by Small Business Minister Bruce Billson today.
Mr Hutchinson said that Break O’Day would receive $330,000 over three years to further its support of small business on Tasmania’s East Coast.
“Local communities in Lyons know small businesses are the engine room of our economy,’’ Mr Hutchinson said.
“That is why I am working to ensure small business – whatever their stage of start-up or expansion – has access to professional and low cost advice.’’
Under the Australian Small Business Advisory Service program Business Solutions 2014 round successful applicants will be funded to increase their capacity to deliver five advisory services to small businesses including:
• Funding avenues and financial analysis
• Building your business
• Making the most of your talent and team
• Management capabilities and
• Digital engagement implementation
