For the third year running, Cuisine on Lake Crackenback Restaurant & Bar has been awarded a chef hat by the prestigious Australian Good Food & Travel Guide (AGFG).
This year, 462 hats were awarded by the AGFG including 124 restaurants in New South Wales and 12 in the Australian Capital Territory.
Cuisine on Lake Crackenback is the only establishment in the Snowy Mountains region to receive this award.
The AGFG reviewer said Cuisine on Lake Crackenback Restaurant & Bar offers a dining experience that can’t be missed when in the Snowy Mountains.
“Their tranquil lakeside setting near Thredbo is picturesque, accentuated by floor to ceiling windows.
“Whether you’re staying at the resort or passing through, a leisurely dining experience at Cuisine will offer you country flavours based on the best produce.”
Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa General Manager Anthony Cleary said the award is a credit to executive chef Greg Pieper and his food and beverage team.
“Greg’s innovative and uncompromising approach to sourcing the best produce, locally where possible and his imaginative approach has helped put Cuisine on the foodies map,” said Mr Cleary.
Cuisine is open daily for breakfast & espresso bar from 7am until 10am. Dinner is served every night in winter and five nights (Tuesday to Saturday) throughout the rest of the year.
