The Short + Sweet festival continues this week with Program 3 Tues – Friday, finishing with the GALA preview and Showcase on Sat Oct 11 at 2.30 and 7.30. The program being the Top 10 plays of the festival as chosen by the panel of judges and the audience.
The Gala Preview on Saturday afternoon at 2.30 is your last chance to vote for the Audience Choice of the Festival. Saturday evening show at 7.30 will conclude with the award presentations.
The festival has involved over 200 local actors, technicians, writers and directors. This is the inaugural year and festival Director, Ros Peck says “Hobart has really grasped the concept and feedback has been nothing but positive. The opportunity for so many artists to develop their skills and network with local, interstate and international experts in the arts is an opportunity that doesn’t come along every day. AND to have such a high number of new Tasmanian scripts produced in one festival is simply amazing.”
