The Liberal Government has finally admitted there is no “silver bullet” to the challenges facing Tasmania despite offering quick fix solutions before the last election.
“It is clear now that the Liberals mislead Tasmanians and that they have no idea of what to do,” Labor Leader Bryan Green said.
Mr Green said pleas by Matthew Groom today for Tasmanians to give the Government more time were pathetic.
“Mr Groom has done a complete about face by admitting there is no silver bullet solution,” Mr Green said.
“Before the election the Liberals had all the answers but now they are floundering in a mire of task forces, working groups, committees and issues papers.
“The honeymoon is over for the Government. Tasmanians have heard enough talk and they want to see results.
“The Liberals’ slick one line slogans have already started haunting them and will continue to haunt them throughout their term of government.
“Will Hodgman and his colleagues are attempting to bluff their way through Government and are quickly being found out.”
